News from Techno System. We have recently revamped the design of the MD range – the module for domestic hot water production and thermal disinfection against Legionella.

We have introduced a new, modular frame design that can be used across multiple models in the range and is simple to manufacture. Not only that, but we have grouped the sizes together for better stock management and created a new range of accessories. As a result, delivery times are now incredibly fast: 5–8 working days.

What is the MD?

It is an inspectable, custom-sized heat exchanger offering high performance, low pressure drop and easy cleaning. The 3-way valve on the primary circuit allows for precise temperature control. It can be integrated with any type of system, including condensing boilers and solar thermal systems.

What are the benefits? Instant DHW production reduces the volume of storage tanks. What’s more, as it is Plug & Play, you simply need to connect it to the mains supply. Not only that, it has an intuitive, easy-to-use menu and effective, efficient anti-Legionella functions.

What are the MDI module’s special anti-Legionella functions?

The module manages anti-Legionella cycles using an internal timer and weekly schedules, heating the water to a temperature high enough to eliminate the bacteria (above 55 degrees). The temperature can be set and the results of the cycles are recorded.
