We are talking about Techno System’s MDI and MR modules, two solutions that are the subject of the ad hoc agreement signed by Federalberghi Toscana and Techno System, a company with its roots in Certaldo, Tuscany, the only made in Italy manufacturer of heat exchangers, a turnover of around 4 million euros, a staff of 20, a market in Italy and abroad, and 40 years of age by May 2023.
To fight legionella, the MDI module is the safest solution due to its programmed thermal shocks. It is a modern control unit for instantaneous (MDI) or storage (MDA) production of domestic hot water and heating. The time and temperature programming function guarantees the intervention for thermal disinfection against legionella. With this module, you achieve reliable results and considerable savings. Why?
The MD antilegionella module is registered on the Ministry of Health Portal in Italy as a medical device (class 1) with the stamp for the prevention of infectious diseases, the first with this treatment system. All tests and experiments were carried out in a Rsa in the Ausl Centro area in Tuscany, in Castelfiorentino, near Florence. The results have shown that the legionella bacterium can be killed with heat, which is effective and results in significant management savings, without the use of chemicals.
The MR, on the other hand, is a unique product, patented by Techno System, and expressly designed for heat recovery from swimming pool water with both chlorinated (MRP) and salt water (MRS). The device consists of a plate heat exchanger, equipped with electronic temperature control. This controls valves, meters and the highly efficient heat exchanger, which allows the recovery of up to 90% of the heat contained in the waste water that would otherwise be lost. This heat is recovered to pre-heat replacement water. The module reduces energy costs in swimming pools, but also in laundries and other contexts where there is hot water discharge. With approximately 10,000 litres of make-up water per day, this leads to a saving of up to 25 cubic metres of gas per day. There is no system in Italy so specifically designed, tested and effective to achieve these results.
Also part of the agreement between Federalberghi and Techno System is the MDP module, pre-assembled plug&play for heating swimming pools with chlorinated water, easy to install, quick and effective heating of water to the required temperature, with the possibility of remote control. And then the entire range of Techno System heat exchangers 100% made in Italy, 15 models and more than 25 types of plates, adapting to every heat exchange need, from heating to cooling, from DHW production to swimming pools. The secret of this product is the high turbulence, which increases the efficiency of heat exchange.
Techno System has long collaborated with the Clerici group for the distribution of its products. In Tuscany, this is done through the group’s branches, Palagini and Idealcomfort. The company has therefore identified all the branches in Tuscany of the Clerici Group as authorised sales points in the territory for the distribution of these specific products.
Techno System now manufactures and installs over 2000 heat exchangers per year. In different sectors: the food industry for the heat treatment of fluids such as milk, beer and fruit juices.
