GLUE-FREE GASKETS AND PARALLEL FLOWS

Non-glued gaskets and parallel flows are now a consolidated standard at the most important plate heat exchanger manufacturers. Techno System was the first world manufacturer to adopt glue-free gaskets since 1983, thanks to the creation of smooth plate heat exchangers with turbulator.
For the past 15 years, with the advent of corrugated plate heat exchangers, it has adopted the parallel flow configuration, but let’s see what are the benefits of these two technical solutions:

The exchangers with mechanical seal without glue, in the different configurations, allow quick and safe maintenance, as well as guaranteeing the absence of products harmful to health when in the presence of drinking water or food fluids Vice versa, the photograph is very explicit of what we find when we go to do maintenance on an exchanger with glued gaskets. The glue must be removed to carry out the replacement of the gaskets and this can only be done at centers equipped with expensive technologies. Furthermore, the glues are based on cyanoacrylates, substances that are certainly harmful to health and often corrosive to the plates.

As for the parallel flow configuration, this too has been the standard for Techno System heat exchangers for years, which in this way facilitates and makes the assembly and the piping connected to the heat exchanger more functional and distribution. An even greater advantage is that of having all the spare gaskets identical to each other as the internal circuit is carried out exclusively by mounting the plates alternately rotated by 180 ° and no longer by means of different gaskets with right / left passage, with consequent savings on the costs of warehouse.
